Mileage Logs
Mileage logs – if you're one of the many folks who need to keep track of your vehicle mileage, you know just how time-consuming and frustrating it can be keeping timely and accurate records.
And then there's your actual report.
If you're lucky, you only have to enter your raw data into a computer program or spreadsheet. Those of us that need to do all of the calculations by hand really have a hard time. But there's hope for everyone in this situation.
But there's finally an easier way!
A relatively new (but still somewhat unknown) little digital tool called the Mileage Logger has taken GPS (Global Positioning System) technology and used it to automate the task for us.
You can eliminate your headaches and save time and money as well by switching to the Mileage Logger to maintain your mileage logs.
In the United States in 2008, the Federal tax deduction for mileage is over $.50 per mile which means if you fail to accurately record your business mileage (because of all the hassles associated with the manual system) you're leaving money on the table.
The Mileage Logger is smaller than a dollar bill and so it's quite portable. Use more than one auto for business? No sweat! The Mileage Logger moves from vehicle to vehicle with ease.
And it's easy to use as well. You simply plug it into your car's cigarette lighter and turn it on at the beginning of your trip and then at the end of the trip, your final mileage is calculated and uploaded to the Mileage Logger website.
Then you can login to the site whenever you'd like to add any notes or download your mileage report.
Believe me, once you've tried this little electronic miracle, you will never go back to manually tracking your mileage logs.
